Ready to save your natural tooth?
Have questions about root canal treatment or need to arrange an appointment? Get in touch by phone to discuss your next steps. If you are experiencing severe dental pain or swelling, please mention this when you call.
What to tell us when you call
Let us know which tooth is causing trouble, how long it has been a problem and whether your dentist has taken any recent X-rays. If you are anxious about treatment, say so — Angel is trained in dental sedation and has a particular focus on helping anxious patients feel comfortable. Not sure whether you need root canal treatment? Start with a diagnostic consultation.
Why phone enquiries?
Calling the practice directly means your enquiry reaches a person straight away, with no online form or automated queue. We can answer questions about treatment, give you a realistic idea of what to expect and book an appointment at a time that suits you.
Before your first visit
- Bring a list of any medication you take and details of medical conditions
- Bring, or ask your dentist to send, any recent X-rays of the tooth
- Eat normally beforehand — an appointment can take up to 90 minutes
- Allow time for the anaesthetic to wear off (two to four hours) before eating on that side
In pain now?
- Tell us your symptoms are acute when you call — see urgent tooth pain
- Rapidly increasing facial swelling, difficulty swallowing or breathing, or severe illness requires urgent medical assessment (NHS 111 or emergency services)
- A knocked-out adult tooth should be replanted or kept in milk and seen within the hour — see dental trauma
